Khansaar is an independent territory outside the jurisdiction of any state. There is no ability to contact the outside world, and tourism and visitation is strictly forbidden. In Khansaar, one’s personal characteristics, including looks, personality, ethnicity, gender identity, and talents, change every day upon waking up, involuntarily and at random (memories are retained as normal). Joining Khansaar through legal immigration is possible, however, once one immigrates, it is impossible to leave.

In recent times, with the invitation of such individuals such as Ben Shapriro to the University of Florida and Aung San Suu Kyi's talk at Harvard University, controversy has arisen as to whether statements made by such individuals which can be construed as offensive and defamatory to certain groups of people should be exempt from legal recourse. Critics argue that this allows hateful statements to remain unpunished and often garner academic validity, while proponents state that such discourse is vital for academic discourse and advancement of the exchange of ideas.

X  (she/her) is in grade 12 of high school. In school, X has always been an average student, but she is incredibly passionate and talented at history. X's mother raises her as a single mom, and had to work three jobs to provide for her, forcing her to give up her dream of going to a dance school. Now, as X is nearing graduation, her mother wants her to work to help pay off loans and not go to university, at least for a few years. X had reluctantly agreed, but she applied to universities anyway, without informing her mother. X got accepted in her dream school with a need-based scholarship that covers most of the school fees, and now, she is rethinking her mother's wish.

The Indian National Congress (INC) is currently the principal opposition party in India. The INC was in power from the first national election held in 1952 upto 1977, from 1980 to 1989, 1991 to 1996 and lastly from 2004 to 2014.

In the 2014 National Elections the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) led coalition won 336 out 545 seats, with the BJP alone winning 282 seats. The INC won 44 seats and lost 162 of the seats it previously held.
